What Styles of Yoga can I try?

Restorative: Props (pillows, blocks, straps) are used to support poses in order to find and savor those deep relaxing moments! Restorative yoga allows the mind and nervous system to calm and cool. The mind and body will melt into deep relaxation. Leave class feeling nourished and well rested! (I call this my napping class!) Great for any level.

Sun Saluations/Vinyasa Flow: Movement is facilitated by moving with the breath. Flow from one posture to the next to feel invigorated, strong and balanced mentally and physically. This class can be tailored to any yogee level.

Yin Yoga: Do your knees hurt? Have a sore back? Aching hips? The traditional yoga stretching classes work large muscle groups (yang). Yin Yoga brings works to sustain postures by utilizing the breath and meditation to allow the muscles to relax while the joints, ligaments, connective tissues and bone are worked. These areas of the body do not regularly get explored in a traditional yoga style class.
